Blessed Sacrament winterguards have always been non-profit.

Well over half the operational budget comes from each member’s fees. A smaller percentage from donations and fundraising.

Blessed Sacrament has provided the opportunity for hundreds of Boston area youth and young adults to be a part of the great activity known as winter colorguard for over 70 years! The Blessed Sacrament Color Guard organization is a not-for-profit, performance arts organization devoted to providing its members opportunities to develop their sense of self-confidence, communication skills, sense of team spirit, sense of responsibility, and sense of commitment through the arena of pageantry known as color guard/winterguard. Our current membership consists of approximately 75 members in three groups.

Contributions to Blessed Sacrament winterguards (a 501(c)(3) organization) are tax deductible to the full extent of the law, less the fair market value of any thank-you gifts received. Tax documents are mailed at the end of January for gifts given in the previous calendar year, as required by the IRS.
